THE NEWMAT SOFTWARE – AN ENTIRE PROGRAM!
The NEWMAT software version 2.2 is exclusively reserved for the NEWMAT certified installers. The software is a handy tool for checking the measurements of your ceilings and for assisting you with your sales strategy. The ideal solution is to use it directly with your customers on your laptop. It works in square meters as well as in square feet and is available in 6 languages. The software works in the following way:
• Enter your measurements and calculate of the billable area (screen)
The software greatly simplifies the taking of measurements thanks to the additional shapes function. For example, the drawing above was made starting with a simple square. Four additional shapes were then added : A curve, a recess, an opening and a bevelled corner. Furthermore, the software allows you to check your measurements immediately thanks to a mathematical formula which takes into account a certain level of tolerance. If one of the measurements does not work, the software will inform you immediately.
• Estimates (screen)
Once you have entered the measurements of your stretch ceiling, as well as complementary information regarding accessories, labor, etc., the software allows you to calculate the following three costs:
- The cost of manufacture of your ceiling (by NEWMAT)
- The cost of the accessories (profiles, spotlights, etc.)
- The cost of labor (based on an hourly rate which you define)
Knowing these 3 costs as well as the duration of the job allows you to define your profit margin according to the sales price you give your customer. You know your gross profit margin, your net profit margin, and your square meter price, and it becomes easy to compete without under or overestimating the job. The right price for your customer!
• Ordering your ceiling
The software allows you to print out different documents such as the estimate, sign-off letter (screen), the installation sheet for your installer and also the order form (screen) to send to NEWMAT which includes all information necessary for the manufacture of your ceiling.
The sign-off letter above was automatically generated by the software and allows you to avoid all post-job litigation for your customer as well as your installers.
NEWMAT is equipped with complementary manufacturing software. Using the information contained on your order document, this software automatically generates the drawings used for cutting your ceilings. You are sure to get a ceiling which corresponds exactly to your specifications.
• Sending your drawings by MODEM
Striving to offer the best possible service to its customers, NEWMAT has also developed a complementary means of sending your orders by MODEM. To list a few advantages of this system:
